Day 1 – Welcome to Lima: The Beginning of an Unforgettable Experience
Your romantic journey through Peru begins in the city of Lima, considered the gastronomic capital of South America and a destination where history, culture and haute cuisine merge in an extraordinary way.
Upon arrival at the international airport, a representative from Aura Travel Experiences will warmly welcome you and accompany you on a private transfer to your hotel, allowing you to begin your experience with complete comfort and peace of mind.
Once settled in, you may relax and prepare to enjoy your first evening in the city.
For a truly special evening, we recommend a romantic dinner overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the iconic La Rosa Náutica Restaurant, renowned for its exquisite Peruvian cuisine and spectacular location over the sea. It offers the perfect atmosphere to celebrate the beginning of an unforgettable experience as a couple.

Day 2 – Lima City Tour & Gastronomic Experience
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin a city tour of Lima, discovering the historical, cultural and architectural richness of the Peruvian capital.
During the tour we will visit some of the most emblematic places in the Historic Centre of Lima, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include:
- Plaza Mayor of Lima, the historic heart of the city
- The impressive Lima Cathedral, one of the most important churches in Peru
- The famous San Francisco Convent, known for its catacombs and colonial architecture
- The charming district of Barranco, recognised for its bohemian atmosphere, art galleries and beautiful ocean views
During the day you may enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and taste the renowned Peruvian gastronomy at venues such as:
- Brisas del Titicaca
- La Candelaria
This experience combines music, traditional dances and Peruvian cuisine in a festive and authentic atmosphere.

Day 3 – Paracas, Ballestas Islands & Huacachina Oasis
Early in the morning we depart from Lima towards Paracas, enjoying the beautiful coastal scenery along the way.
Once in Paracas, we will experience an unforgettable boat excursion to the famous Ballestas Islands, often referred to as the “Peruvian Galápagos”, where you will observe:
- Sea lions resting on the rocks
- Marine birds in their natural habitat
- The iconic Candelabra geoglyph, mysterious and symbolic.
Next, we visit a vineyard in Ica, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wine and pisco tasting, discovering the unique flavours of Peru. This experience is complemented by lunch at the vineyard, offering a relaxing and romantic moment surrounded by vineyards and impressive desert landscapes.
Later, we continue to the Huacachina Oasis, a spectacular oasis in the middle of the desert, surrounded by towering sand dunes.
Desert activities:
- Buggy ride across the dunes to feel the adrenaline of the Peruvian desert
- Sandboarding down the highest dunes
At the end of the day we return to Lima.

Day 4 – Flight to Juliaca & Visit to Sillustani
In the morning we take a flight from Lima to Juliaca, the gateway to the Peruvian highlands and the impressive Lake Titicaca.
Upon arrival, we visit the Sillustani Archaeological Site, famous for its ancient funerary towers (chullpas) built by the pre-Inca Colla culture, located in a breathtaking landscape beside Umayo Lagoon. The site offers unique panoramic views and a direct connection with the ancestral history of the Altiplano.
After the visit, transfer to Puno, where you can rest and prepare for the upcoming experiences on Lake Titicaca.

Day 5 – Lake Titicaca: Uros & Taquile Islands
After breakfast at your hotel, we depart early towards the majestic Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, considered a sacred place by Andean cultures.
During the navigation we will discover:
- Uros Islands – fascinating floating islands made of totora reeds, home to ancestral communities who maintain their unique traditions and lifestyle
- Taquile Island – famous for its rich textile culture, recognised as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, where you can interact with the local community and learn about their customs
Optional romantic experience: spend the night on Uros Island to enjoy an unforgettable sunrise over the lake and a unique cultural experience.

Day 6 – Route of the Sun: Puno to Cusco
After breakfast we begin a scenic journey from Puno to Cusco along the famous Route of the Sun, one of the most impressive routes in the Peruvian Altiplano.
During the journey we will visit:
- Pucará Archaeological Site
- La Raya Pass, the highest point of the route.
- Raqchi Archaeological Site, home of the Temple of the god Wiracocha
- Andahuaylillas Church, known as the “Sistine Chapel of America”
At the end of the journey we arrive in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7 – Cusco City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we begin a fascinating city tour of Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, where colonial architecture blends harmoniously with Inca remains.
Visits include:
- Cusco Cathedral
- Qorikancha – Temple of the Sun
- Sacsayhuamán Fortress
- Qenqo ceremonial site
- Puka Pukara fortress
- Tambomachay – the Inca Baths
- Afternoon at leisure.

Day 8 – Sacred Valley: Maras, Moray & Andean Wedding Ceremony
After breakfast we travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a region of breathtaking landscapes and traditional villages.
During the excursion we visit:
- Moray Archaeological Site – circular agricultural terraces used by the Incas
- Maras Salt Mines – spectacular salt terraces exploited since pre-Inca times
- Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley
Special romantic experience: couples may participate in a symbolic Andean Wedding Ceremony, guided by a local shaman. This spiritual ritual celebrates the union and energy of the couple in a magical setting.

Day 9 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco
After breakfast we transfer to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, gateway to the majestic Machu Picchu.
Upon arrival we ascend to the citadel for a guided tour exploring:
- Temple of the Sun
- Sacred Plaza
- Intihuatana Stone
- Agricultural terraces.
After the visit you will have free time for lunch before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, followed by transfer to Cusco.

Day 10 – Rainbow Mountain by Quad Bike
Early departure from Cusco towards Vinicunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain, a natural spectacle of colourful Andean landscapes.

- Quad-bike route through the Andes
- Short hike to the viewpoint of Rainbow Mountain
- Unique Andean scenery perfect for photography and romantic moments
- Breakfast and lunch are included during the excursion.

Day 11 – Free Day in Cusco

Day 12 – Farewell
